5Absolute wonder over Stock
By Kamlesh Desai
The first effect was an incredibly smooth ride from the rear tire, which always seemed to bottom out, or hit, even single up while on stock shocks. Now it has the 'glide' kind of ride over ridges or coming off speed-breakers, which would jar or 'hit' earlier--- On highways, with this new found penchant for plastic emulsion stripes at pedestrian crossings, that give this numbing effect and shake the entire bike up, not only the front kind of responds with the jumping effect over the stripes, while the rear glides almost effortlessly over them... I would say I got them for $475- so we are good- In addition, I purchased the 13" size available in this now discontinued 440 series, so that has two effects- its sharpened the steering effort and coming from the Sportster background, almost a 'cool' effect as the otherwise long and sluggish responding Supler Glide now has added zip- all this due to the sharpened rake. 412s are available for 300, and some 970s for some 900+ so the market is wide. The products are good and I am happy with the purchase, my second set of Progressives, for my second bike.
